Converting a 1410 SAT to ACT score

Hey everyone, I ended up with a 1410 on my SAT. I am trying to figure out if I should stick with the SAT or if I should transition to taking the ACT. Any thoughts on what this score might convert to on the ACT?

Conversion between SAT and ACT scores is not a perfect process due to differences in the structure and content of the exams, but it can provide a rough estimate to guide you. That being said, an SAT score of 1410 roughly translates to an ACT score of about 30-31.

Assuming you feel comfortable with your result on the SAT and believe you can further improve it, you might be better off sticking with the SAT for now, especially since transitioning to the ACT would require learning a different exam format and potentially new sets of strategies. However, if you tend to perform better under time pressure, or excel in the science reasoning skills which the ACT assesses but the SAT does not, the ACT could be the better choice for you.

Remember, colleges typically consider either the SAT or ACT, giving no preference to one over the other. It generally comes down to which test you feel more comfortable with. It's also worth noting that increasingly, many colleges offer test-optional policies, so check to see if the schools you're interested in require standardized test scores in the first place.
