Hey guys! Hoping to apply to Auburn University, but I'm not sure what ACT score I should be aiming for. Any insight would be enormously helpful!
Hi there! Auburn University, while not extremely selective, does have some typical ranges you want to fall within to increase your chances of admission.
For the ACT, admitted students into the class of 2028 had an average score of 28.7. Keep in mind that this is an average, so students were accepted with scores below and above this. So, if you aim for a higher than average score, let's say 30-31, you'll place yourself in a competitive position in terms of ACT scores.
However, keep in mind that Auburn University evaluates applicants with a holistic review process. This means they look at other factors beyond test scores such as GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, and more. Maintaining a good balance between your test scores and your other application components will ultimately be beneficial for your application. Good luck with your application preparation!
