Normal SAT scores for University of Michigan?

Hi guys - Anyone knows the usual range for SAT scores for admitted UMICH students? I know my score won't make or break my application, but I am trying to get an idea of their expectations. Really appreciate your help!

Sure thing! For the University of Michigan (commonly known as UMich), the middle 50% SAT scores for admitted students are between approximately 1350 and 1530, with the 25th percentile score being around 1350 and the 75th percentile score around 1530. This implies that half of UMich students achieved an SAT score within this range.

Of course, being both within or outside of this range doesn't guarantee acceptance or rejection. The university considers a variety of factors during the application review process. Your high school GPA, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and application essays are all significant components of your application, in addition to your SAT scores.

However, it's definitely helpful to use these scores as a reference when assessing your chances of acceptance at UMich. So if you're within or above this range, you might have a competitive SAT score for UMich. If not, you might seek to improve your scores, highlight your strengths in other areas of your application, or consider other schools that might be a better fit academically.
