Hey guys, I've been seriously looking into Northwestern University as one of my top choices. With that in mind, could anyone give me an idea about the average SAT score for students admitted to Northwestern? I understand that scores aren't everything, but I'm trying to figure out a range that might give me the best chances.
Northwestern University will remain test optional for the 2024-2025 admissions cycle. They will not require ACT or SAT scores from first-year or transfer candidates applying for fall 2025 entry. If students choose to take an SAT or ACT, there is no preference for either exam and will review a "super score" for both tests.
It’s important to remember that Northwestern, like most selective schools, employs a holistic review process, meaning they consider everything in your application, like your GPA, coursework, extracurricular involvement, essays, and letters of recommendation, also play a major role in the decision process. Good luck!
