Attempting to get the highest SAT score possible?

Hi there, I'm aiming for like the very highest score possible on the SAT. Any tips or trick to ace it? Should I focus more on accuracy or completion of all problems? Cheers!

Sounds like you have a solid goal in place! Here are some tips that might help you achieve a high SAT score:

1. Understand the Structure: Since the SAT went fully digital in Spring 2024, the structure has changed a bit. It now consists of two 32-minute Reading and Writing modules and two 35-minute Math modules.

2. Strategic Studying: Identify your strengths and weaknesses early. Take a practice test at the beginning of your study period to see where you need to focus most.

3. Understand the Time: Each Reading and Writing question gives you about 71 seconds, while each Math question allows approximately 96 seconds. Knowing this can help you pace yourself.

4. Completion Vs. Accuracy: The SAT gives equal weight to all questions, so it's more beneficial to ensure accuracy on the questions you do answer rather than rushing to complete every question and risking accuracy.

5. Practice Tests: Regularly take full-length practice tests. The Bluebook™ app allows you to preview the digital SAT and take a full-length practice test. This helps you to understand the format better and gauge your timing.

6. Review Mistakes: After each practice test, carefully review your errors. Understand why you got each question wrong and how to approach similar problems in the future.

Remember, your SAT score is important, but it's not the only factor in the college admissions process. You'll also need strong grades, good essays, recommendations, and extracurriculars. Happy studying!
