Breaking it down a bit more, the average score for the Reading & Writing section is around 529, while the average score for the Math section is roughly 521.
However, competitive scores can vary widely depending on the schools you're interested in. For highly selective schools, you’ll want to aim for scores in the upper 1400s to 1500s. For more moderately selective schools, a score in the 1200s or 1300s may be sufficient.
