Boston College SAT requirements - anyone got the 411?

Hey fellow students, I've been considering Boston College as an option but still a bit fuzzy on the SAT requirements part. Could any of you please spare some info on it? Do they require a specific SAT score or range? Thought I'd get my ducks in a row and get prepared early!

Boston College is indeed a great institution to aim for! It's important to note that they consider applications holistically and there is no strict "cut-off" point below which you can't be accepted.

Boston College will continue its test optional admission policy for the 2024-2025 application cycle. Students who opt not to submit test scores will receive full consideration during their selection process. However, to provide data for the middle 50% SAT score range for admitted students at Boston College was between 1420 and 1520. So about 50% of admitted students scored within this range. To put it differently, 25% of admitted students scored below a 1420 and 25% of admitted students scored above a 1520.

Keep in mind, if you choose to submit SAY scores, it is just one part of your application and Boston College will consider other factors too, including your GPA, course rigor, extracurriculars, essays and recommendations.

Good luck on your college journey!
