Hey everyone! Syracuse is one of my top choices and I'm wondering about the SAT scores they usually look for. Anyone got any info on this?
Hello! Syracuse University will not require SAT or ACT scores for students applying for admission in Fall 2024. This test optional policy also applies to Spring 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 admission. Students who choose not to submit scores will not be disadvantaged and will still be eligible for merit scholarships. However, students can still submit scores if they choose to, either by self-reporting or by requesting official scores be submitted on their behalf. Students who self-report their scores will not need to submit official score reports unless they are admitted and choose to enroll. It is important to bear in mind that if students choose to submit their scores, they do not guarantee admission. Other factors in your application, such as GPA, the rigor of your high school courses, extracurricular involvement, and your personal essay, also play significant roles in the admissions decision.
Overall, strive to attain a score within or above this range to strengthen your application. Good luck with your college prep and application journey!
