Average SAT score for UF?

Hey, I'm prepping for my SAT and just curious about what SAT score I should aim for if I want to apply to the University of Florida. Any ideas?

As of the 2024-2025 application cycle, the middle 50% SAT range for the University of Florida (UF) is around 1350-1490. That means around 50% of admitted students scored within that range. So, to be competitive, you should aim for a score within (or above) that range.

However, remember that UF, like many universities, practices a holistic review process where your SAT score is just one factor among many that their Admissions Committee will consider. Your high school GPA, your curriculum rigor, your essays, and your extracurricular involvement are all also important elements that can contribute to your overall application success.

So keep in mind that having an SAT score in this range will not guarantee admission, just as a score outside of it doesn't preclude admission. Each application will be reviewed in its entirety, appreciating the unique strengths and contributions a student may bring to the UF community. Best of luck in your test preparation and your application to UF!
