Is there any reputed university offering low-cost out-of-state tuition?

Does anyone know of well-regarded colleges that offer relatively low-cost out-of-state tuition? My family and I are trying to stay conscious of the financial demands of college, but we're potentially open to out-of-state schools if they're financially feasible. Any suggestions would be awesome!

When considering out-of-state schools that might ease the cost burden, it's worth noting that a few universities provide very competitive non-resident tuition.

1. University of Minnesota - Twin Cities: A member of Big Ten, it's consistently ranked among the top public universities and has a substantial non-resident tuition discount as compared to many other big-name schools.

2. Florida State University: Florida State offers some of the lowest non-resident tuition rates among public universities in the country. And being in a state capital, Tallahassee, it provides ample internship opportunities.

3. University of New Mexico: Located in Albuquerque, UNM has strong programs in the arts and STEM while providing affordable out-of-state tuition.

4. West Virginia University: This school comes with affordable out-of-state tuition and a comprehensive set of majors including Engineering, Business, and Psychology.

Keep in mind though, these are just a few colleges and you might want to look at other factors as well such as cost of living in the city and the availability of your desired major. Also consider applying for scholarships and grants that reduce the overall cost. One helpful tip is to use the net price calculator, available on every school's website, to get an estimate of what you can expect to pay after scholarships and grants.

Remember, tuition is just one part of the total cost of college. In addition to tuition, don't forget to take into account housing, meals, books, transportation, and personal expenses when creating a budget for college.
