Duke GPA Expectations?

Hi everyone, I've been aiming for Duke and wanted to know what sort of GPA they usually expect from applicants? Is a solid 4.0 necessary, or do they consider other stuff more?

Duke University, like many highly selective institutions, does look for high academic achievement and rigor from its applicants, which includes a strong GPA. The average unweighted GPA of Duke's accepted students is generally around 3.9 or higher on a 4.0 scale. This indicates that a significant number of accepted students have near-perfect GPAs.

Extracurricular activities and how you engage with them also come into consideration, particularly if you are demonstrating depth, commitment, and leadership. Your essays, recommendation letters, and the unique aspects of your personal story that you share in your application will also be important when admissions officers evaluate your fit for Duke University.
