Minimum SAT Scores for UCF

I'm hoping to apply to UCF soon and was wondering what the minimum SAT score they're looking for is? I can't seem to find specific info on this, any info you may have would be super helpful!

While universities rarely publish "minimum" SAT scores for admission, they often provide a range of scores for admitted students. Based on previous admissions data, the middle 50% of admitted students at University of Central Florida (UCF) typically have SAT scores ranging from around 1270 – 1390.

However, these numbers are not strict cutoffs, because UCF uses a holistic review process, which means they assess your application in its entirety — their decision is not solely based on test scores. This holistic review may include your academic performance, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, volunteer work, and personal essay.

So even if your SAT score is a bit below this range, it doesn’t automatically disqualify you. On the contrary, if your SAT score is above this range, it doesn't guarantee admission. It's just one piece of the puzzle.

If you want to know how your application as a whole stacks up at UCF, I'd check out CollegeVine's free chancing engine, which accounts for all quantifiable elements of your application, including not just test scores but also GPA, course rigor, and extracurriculars to give you personalized odds of acceptance at UCF and hundreds of other colleges: https://www.collegevine.com/admissions-calculator

This tool will also give you suggestions on how to improve your chances, whether by raising your SAT score slightly or some other step, like earning a leadership position in one of your extracurriculars.

Remember to focus on all aspects of your application to make it as strong as possible. Best of luck with your application to UCF!
