Hey everyone! I've always been keen on applying to Notre Dame, but I'm a bit confused about the specific SAT requirements. I read somewhere that they've updated it, but I'm not sure. Can someone please help me out?
Notre Dame is currently test-optional for the 2024-2025 application cycle. This means that applicants can choose whether or not to submit SAT scores with their application. Applicants can self-report their scores through the application or applicant portal but must submit official score reports if they are admitted. Notre Dame also does not require the SAT essay portion of SAT Subject Tests. Although test scores are optional, applicants are encouraged to submit materials they think will strengthen their application.
Notre Dame, like most universities, uses a holistic admissions approach. They consider many aspects of your application, including your GPA, the rigor of your high school curriculum, your extracurricular activities, and your essays, in addition to your SAT score.
