What's the GPA Requirement for UCLA?

Wondering if anyone here could help me out. I'm looking into UCLA for college and I'm stressed about the academic requirements. Does anyone know what GPA is typically required for admission?

UCLA, like all highly selective universities, does not have a fixed "cut-off" GPA for admission. Rather, it evaluates every application holistically, taking into account a student's academic achievements, personal experiences, extracurricular involvement, background and more.

However, to give you a sense of the competitiveness, the average high school GPA of admitted students tends to be extremely high. According to UCLA's admission statistics, the middle 50% of admitted students in the past had GPAs between 4.18 and 4.31 on a weighted scale. This indicates that half of the admitted students had GPAs in this range.

If your GPA is on the lower side for UCLA's admitted students, it's important to remember that other factors can still contribute positively to your application. For example, strong extracurricular involvement, compelling essays, and strong letters of recommendation can be just as meaningful.

Remember, GPA is an important component, but not the only factor colleges use to make admissions decisions. Make sure to focus on other aspects of your application as well.
