ACT Score for Admission to Texas A&M

Does anyone know what the ACT score range is for admission to Texas A&M? I've taken the ACT a couple of times now and want to know if I'm in a good place score-wise. I can't find a lot of detailed info on their website.

Texas A&M University does not publicly release a specific ACT score range or cutoff, but you can get an idea of the scores of accepted students by looking at the middle 50% ACT scores. The middle 50% is the middle range wherein 50% of accepted students' scores fall. For Texas A&M's most recent freshman class, this middle 50% range is 25 to 31. Generally, aiming for a score in the upper end of this range can increase your chances of being competitively admitted.

But remember, Texas A&M University, like many other universities, follows a holistic admission process. They not only look at your ACT score but also consider your GPA, your academic rigor, your extracurricular activities, your essays, among other factors.

Therefore, while having a strong ACT score could strengthen your application, other sections of your application are equally important. Texas A&M, for instance, places high value on exceptional involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities.

Don't get too caught up trying to hit a specific score. Focus on performing to the best of your ability and showcasing your strengths in all areas of your application.
