Hi peeps, I'm thinking about applying to MIT and I'm stressing out a bit about their admissions deadlines. Can anyone tell me when I need to get my application in by?
MIT offers two deadlines for their Undergraduate Admissions: the Early Action (EA) deadline and the Regular Action (RA) deadline.
For Early Action, the application deadline is November 1. This allows you to hear back from the college earlier, usually by mid-December. Please bear in mind that MIT's Early Action is not binding, which means you are not obliged to enroll if admitted.
The Regular Action deadline is January 4 and you will hear back from MIT around mid-March. Do note that these dates are subject to change from year to year.
Regardless of the deadline you choose, ensure you're satisfied with all elements of your application, from recommendation letters to essays, before submitting. It is important that you put in the necessary time and effort, so give yourself ample time before the deadline.
