Hey y'all, I've been working really hard for the SAT and am trying to reach the perfect score, but I'm not exactly sure what it is... what's considered a perfect SAT score?
A perfect score on the SAT is 1600. This is achieved by earning 800 points on both the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section and the Math section. Each of these sections is scored on a scale of 200-800, which are then added together to get your composite score. Remember, while achieving a perfect or near-perfect score is definitely advantageous, many competitive colleges also look beyond just standardized test scores, into aspects of your application like GPA, extracurricular activities, and essays among others. Aim for the best score possible, but remember that it's only one piece of your application!
