Naval Academy SAT score requirements?

Hello everyone, I've been considering the Naval Academy, but I'm unsure if my SAT scores are good enough. Could anyone tell me about the SAT score requirements or average scores of admitted students?

The United States Naval Academy is a competitive institution with high admission standards. Keep in mind that the Naval Academy, like many institutions, doesn't disclose a strict "minimum" SAT score requirement for applicants.

However, to give you a general sense of the competitiveness surrounding SAT scores at the Naval Academy, the middle 50% SAT score range for admitted students is roughly between 1250 to 1450. This means that 50% of enrolled students have an SAT score within this range, with 25% scoring above and 25% scoring below.

Remember that these are approximate ranges and not hard-and-fast rules. While testing is an important piece of your application, the Naval Academy also considers other factors too like physical fitness, leadership experience, interviews, letters of recommendation, and more.

If your scores fall below this range, it doesn't immediately disqualify your application. However, it could mean that other parts of your application should be exceptional in order to balance out lower scores. On the other hand, if your scores are within or above this range, it could potentially increase your chances of admission.

Please note to confirm the details with the Naval Academy Admission office to get the most up-to-date and accurate information. Good luck with your application!
