Hey guys, forgive me if this is a basic question, but I'm really curious. How can I find my old SAT scores? I took the test a while ago and would like to see how I did. Is there a proper/official way to retrieve the results? Any advice is welcome.
With any already-taken SAT tests, you can retrieve your old scores directly from the College Board, the official institution administering the SAT.
First, go to the College Board's website and log into your account. This should be the account you created when you first registered for the SAT. You may need to reset your password if it has been a while since you last logged in.
Once you're in your account, navigate to the "My SAT" section. Here you should be able to see a list of any SAT tests that you've taken, along with the scores for each test section (that is, Reading/ Writing and Math).
Do keep in mind that if you took the SAT more than a year ago, there may be a fee to view your old scores. This fee is waived for a year after the test date, but after that period there is a charge to retrieve old scores directly from the College Board. You have the opportunity to order older score reports, either online, by mail, or over the phone, which then can be sent to you or a college, university, or scholarship program.
It is important to note that as of 2024, the digitization process may have changed certain aspects of how the scores are accessed or retained; thus, it is essential to directly communicate with the College Board to get the most accurate information.
