Expected SAT scores for Lehigh University?

Hey folks, Lehigh is one of my top choices for higher studies. I'm unable to find much information on the usual SAT scores for admitted students. Could someone shed some light on this?

Sure, the middle 50% range of SAT scores for Lehigh University students typically falls between 1370 and 1480. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1370, and 25% scored above 1480. It's important to note that these are based on admissions from previous years and can vary slightly year by year.

However, this doesn't mean that scoring in this range guarantees admission, or that scoring lower necessarily excludes you from being admitted. Admission to universities like Lehigh is holistic, meaning they consider all parts of your application, not just your SAT score. Other factors may include GPA, rigor of high school coursework, extracurriculars, essays, and letters of recommendation.

Therefore, if you have a lower SAT score but a strong overall application, you could still stand a good chance. Also, remember that high SAT scores don't compensate for low grades or a lack of involvement in extracurriculars. It's all about the balanced approach.

If Lehigh is truly one of your top choices, I'd encourage you to apply regardless of your SAT score as long as it's within a reasonable range of the average admitted scores I mentioned above. Be sure to put your best foot forward in all other aspects of your application! Best of luck!
