How long does the SAT test usually take?

I got the SAT coming up and just wanted to get an idea about how long is the actual duration of the test. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The new, fully digital version of the SAT is structured somewhat differently than the previous paper-based version. The current format divides the exam into four modules, portioned as follows:

Reading and Writing: The test includes two 32-minute sections, to complete a total of 54 questions. This means you're allocated roughly 71 seconds per question.

Math: Just like the Reading and Writing sections, there are two sections for Math, each 35 minutes long, to complete a total of 44 questions. You'll have about 96 seconds per question, which is a bit more than a minute and a half.

So, the total duration of the digital SAT is 134 minutes, or about 2 hours and 14 minutes, to answer all 98 questions. Please note that extra time may be needed for instructions, breaks, and any additional administrative tasks, so plan your schedule accordingly on test day.

Also, with the shift to the digital format, it's worth mentioning that you can now use a calculator on both math sections of the SAT. Good luck with your preparation!
