Looking for insight about Sac State admissions

Hey folks! I've been looking around some Cal State Universities and Sacramento State just recently got my attention. Has anyone figured out the current acceptance rate for Sac State? I'm hoping it's not crazy low, fingers crossed!

Sacramento State University, also known as Sac State, is indeed one of the universities under the California State University (CSU) system. Its acceptance rate does fluctuate from year to year, but the trend in recent years puts it at a moderate level, neither wildly competitive nor excessively relaxed.

This is partly due to the CSU system's mission to provide broad, accessible post-secondary education to California residents. As of the 2022-2023 academic cycle, Sac State's acceptance rate hovers around 92%. This means that many applicants who meet the minimum eligibility requirements have a good chance of being admitted.

Remember that Sac State is test-blind, meaning it does not consider SAT or ACT scores in its admissions process. Therefore, your high school GPA will carry the most weight, followed by coursework rigor. Best of luck with your college applications!
