Average ACT scores for Stanford Applicants?

Hi all, just a junior here trying to set some goals. Wondering what the average ACT score is for students applying to Stanford? I know it’s up there, but exactly how high should I be aiming? Any tips for reaching said goals are welcome too!

From what I've seen, Stanford University is quite competitive when it comes to standardized test scores. Given the available data, the middle 50% range of ACT scores for admitted students tends to be around 33-35. That means 25% of admitted students scored above a 35, and 25% scored below a 33. Therefore, to be considered a competitive applicant, you should aim for at least a 33.

As for test prep, focus on the areas that you're weakest in first, and gradually work towards your strengths. Practice tests are quite useful and they allow you to gauge your progress. Remember, it's also important to work on your time management skills, since you'll be timed during the actual test.

Other than that, I recommend dedicating a specific amount of time each day to study, starting with short, frequent sessions and gradually increasing the length as the test date gets closer. Finally, remember to take breaks — it’s essential to let your brain rest so you can absorb the information more effectively.

Good luck with your studying!
