Content of AP World History Exam?

I'm currently stressing over the AP World History exam. Does anyone know what specific topics and time periods it covers? Is there anything I should definitely not skip over while studying?

First and foremost, breathe easy! AP exams can be daunting, but with the right approach, you'll find that they are manageable. The AP World History exam covers a vast timeline from 1200 CE to the present, which includes a variety of regions and cultures. It's important to not skip over any time periods because the exam can draw questions from any era within its scope. However, be sure to understand the big-picture themes and how different events are interconnected across different places and times.

The College Board provides a course description that outlines all the specifics of what you need to study. Also, practice with the types of questions the test will include, such as multiple-choice, short answer, document-based questions, and long-essay questions. One thing I often suggest is to focus on mastering essay writing and document analysis, as these are crucial skills for this exam. Moreover, familiarize yourself with past examinations to get a feel for the style of questions that are frequently asked. Good luck!
