What's Baylor's Average SAT Score?

Hello! I'm half way through junior year and starting my college search. Baylor has caught my eye, but I'm unsure of their average SAT score. Any idea what they typically look for in the math and critical reading sections? Thanks!

Sure thing! Currently, the middle 50% SAT range for reading and math scores at Baylor University is between 1180 and 1350. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1180, and 25% scored above 1350. Now, keep in mind that this is just a range, not absolute cutoffs.

For further context, scores of accepted students can vary widely and an above-average score can certainly strengthen your application, but it won't guarantee acceptance. Conversely, a score that falls below the average is not necessarily a deal-breaker. Other factors like your academic performance, extracurricular involvements, and application essays would be taken into consideration as well.

That said, a solid SAT score certainly helps. So study well, aim for the highest score you can, and good luck on your college search journey!
