Looking for the Best Calculator for the ACT

Yo peeps, could anyone recommend the best calculator for the ACT? I've been using my TI-84 Plus but it's kinda old now. I want one that's efficient and easy to use during the test. Thanks a lot!

Sure, no problem at all! I see you've been using the TI-84 Plus which is actually one of the top choices for the ACT. It's powerful, reliable, and is accepted by both the ACT and SAT. But if you're looking for something a bit newer, you could consider the TI-84 Plus CE. It's got all the functionalities of the TI-84 Plus but with a color screen, which can make graphs easier to read. Its slim design makes it more portable and easy to handle too.

Another option could be the TI-Nspire CX II which offers advanced graphing functionality and a full-color display. However, it might be overkill for the ACT, as you actually don't need a lot of complex graphing capabilities for the test.

Last but not least, consider the Casio fx-9750GII. It's a bit less common than Texas Instruments models, but offers all the ACT-required features and comes with an attractive price tag. It does have a slightly different key layout, though, so it might take a bit to get used to if you've been using TI calculators.

Remember to become familiar with your choice of calculator before the actual test day. You want to be able to operate it with ease when it really matters. Happy studying!
