Average GPA for Northeastern University

Hey there, I’m currently a junior and looking at Northeastern University for college. My GPA's not bad but I've had a few hiccups along the way. Does anyone know their average GPA for admitted students?

Northeastern University is a fairly competitive school with a high academic standard. For admitted students, the average GPA tends to be in the range of 3.8 to 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. This translates to typically having A's and B's, with more A's than B's.

Keep in mind, though, that this average can vary depending on your intended major or program of interest. Competitive programs may have higher GPA averages. Additionally, Northeastern University also values other factors in their admissions process such as extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and your personal statement.

However, a strong GPA can strengthen your application and demonstrate your academic capabilities. If you feel your GPA is substantially lower than the average, focusing on improving it throughout your remaining high school years could be beneficial, as well as excelling in other areas of your academic and extracurricular life.
