SAT Scores for Ivy Leagues

Hey all, I've been dreaming about some Ivy Leagues like Brown, Columbia, Harvard, and UPenn. I'm kinda stressed on the SAT score part. Can anyone tell me what score range I should be aiming for these schools?

While Ivy Leagues universities like Brown, Columbia, Harvard, and UPenn have typically had high median SAT scores, they are not the sole determining factor of an application. That said, aiming for a score in the higher range to bolster your overall application would be advisable.

As of the 2024-2025 application cycle, all the universities you mentioned are requiring SAT scores again.

For Brown, the mid-50% SAT score (meaning 50% of accepted students have scores in this range) for accepted students in recent years has been about 1510-1570.

Columbia students in the mid-50% range have typically scored between 1510 and 1560 on their SATs.

Harvard usually sees scores in the ballpark of 1490-1580 for its mid-50% range.

At UPenn, the mid-50% SAT score is around 1500-1570.

Remember, these are just median ranges, meaning half of accepted students fall within these scores, but there are still students who score below and above these ranges and are accepted. Work towards achieving the highest score you can, but also remember to focus on other aspects of your application, such as your extracurriculars, essays, and class grades.
