UC San Diego GPA Requirements?

I've been eyeing UC San Diego for a while now because of their STEM programs. Can anyone tell me what's their average GPA for admitted students?

UC San Diego, like many universities, doesn't explicitly state a GPA requirement for admission, but it does provide data on the academic profiles of previously admitted students to give prospective applicants a sense of what they're looking for.

That said, the average high school GPA of students admitted to UC San Diego is usually quite high because of the school's competitiveness. Most recently, admitted students had an average GPA between 4.03 and 4.28.

Remember, however, that these are averages; some admitted students' GPAs will be higher, and others' will be lower. Also, keep in mind that these figures can change from year to year.

In addition to looking at your GPA, UC San Diego will consider a variety of other factors during the admissions process, including your course rigor, extracurricular activities, leadership experiences, and personal essays. It's essential to present a well-rounded application. Strive for strong grades, but also invest time in your extracurricular activities and crafting compelling essays.
