GPA Expectations for Northeastern?

Hi y'all, I'm a junior and Northeastern is one of my dream schools. However, I'm not exactly sure what kind of GPA they expect from prospective students. Can anyone share the typical GPA range for accepted students at Northeastern?

Northeastern University is indeed a competitive school and typically looks for students with strong academic records.

According to the most recent admissions statistics, the middle 50% GPA range for admitted students at Northeastern is around 4.2-4.6 on a weighted 4.0 scale. This range, however, does not tell the whole story as your GPA will be evaluated in the context of the rigor of your course load. That means it's beneficial to take challenging courses like Honors, APs, and IBs, if they are available at your school and you can manage them successfully.

Remember, Northeastern, like many other universities, uses a holistic review process. What this means is that although your GPA is an important piece of your application, it's not the only thing they consider. They will also look at your test scores, essays, letters of recommendation, and extracurricular activities. So while a strong GPA can enhance your application, it is also crucial that these other aspects of your application are strong.

I hope this provides some clarity about the GPA expectations for Northeastern. Good luck with your college applications!
