MSU and SAT scores?

Does anyone have any idea about what SAT score is usually expected for admission at Michigan State University? I'm trying to set some goals for my upcoming tests. Thanks in advance!

Michigan State University is test optional, which means that prospective first-year students have the opportunity to apply for admission without submitting an ACT or SAT score. Students will indicate on the application whether they would like SAT or ACT exam scores included in their evaluation. First-year applicants who would like to have test scores considered will have the ability to self-report test scores on the application. Admitted students who chose to apply with self-reported test scores will be required to provide the official test score which should be sent directly to MSU by the testing agency.

The admission department also looks at your high school GPA, the rigor of your high school courses, your class rank, your extracurricular activities, and your leadership, talents, conduct and diversity of experience. It's important to work hard in all these dimensions to create a well-rounded application.

For example, if you're very involved in math club and are pursuing a major in Math, you'd want to emphasize these activities in your application. If you have a passion for environmental studies, having a leadership position in an environmental club would nicely connect with your intended major.

Best of luck preparing for your SAT!
