Should I Join the Military Instead of Pursuing College?

I'm a high school senior deciding between college or enlisting. What are the implications of choosing one over the other? Anyone with personal experience?

On the other hand, joining the military does provide its share of educational and personal dividends. Military service may offer unique experiences in teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Furthermore, there are certain military benefits like the Post-9/11 GI Bill, which provides education benefits including tuition, fees, books, and housing, that you could use after your service or potentially transfer to family members.
