What are some not so known D2 schools, that are great academically?

I'm currently in the process of searching for colleges and I am particularly interested in D2 schools. Can anyone suggest some academically sound D2 schools that might be flying under the radar?

Sure, I'm happy to suggest a few Division II schools known for strong academics that might not be on everyone's radar:

1. Bentley University: Known for its highly respected business program, Bentley provides a strong foundation in the liberal arts as well. It's located in Waltham, Massachusetts, just minutes away from Boston.

2. Rollins College: Located in Winter Park, Florida, Rollins is home to business, communication, and psychology programs. It's known for its collaborative learning style and commitment to community engagement.

3. University of the Sciences: As the name suggests, this Philadelphia-based institution is renowned for its robust STEM, pharmacy, and health sciences curriculum.

4. Colorado School of Mines: Positioned in Golden, Colorado, this university specializes in engineering and applied sciences and is highly well-regarded for those programs.

5. Truman State University: Located in Missouri, Truman State is known for its affordability, and it offers quality programs across the curriculum, with strong offerings in the liberal arts and sciences.

6. Nova Southeastern University: Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, NSU is known for its programs in the health professions, as well as business, education, and computer sciences.

Remember, where you go to school isn't the only thing that matters, but also the educational opportunities the school provides and how you make the most of them. Good luck on your college journey!
