OSC admission GPA threshold?

Hi all, I'm really interested in applying to Ohio State, and I've been working hard to maintain my GPA. Can anyone tell me the kind of GPA they usually look for during the admissions process?

Ohio State University (OSU) typically looks for applicants with a strong academic record. As of the most recent data, the average high school GPA of admitted students has been around a 3.8. However, this should just serve as a benchmark rather than a strict cutoff. It's important to remember that OSU, like many other schools, looks at the entire application - including coursework rigor, extracurricular involvement, teacher recommendations, and personal essays - not just your GPA.

It's also worth noting that your chances of admission are generally higher if you surpass these averages since these are just averages — about half of admitted students fall below these.
