Use of Calculators on AP CSP Exam

To anyone who's taken the AP CSP (Computer Science Principles) exam, do you know if we're allowed to use calculators? I haven't seen much information about this and I want to make sure I'm prepped well. Thanks in advance!

Hello there! Great question, and it's super to see you're getting prepared ahead of time. For the AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP) exam, you won't need a calculator. The AP CSP exam is focused on assessing your understanding of computer science concepts, the internet, cybersecurity, programming, and the impacts of computing. Unlike other science or math exams, where complex calculations might be required, the AP CSP exam doesn't involve the type of math that would necessitate a calculator. So, you can put your mind at ease on that front. Remember, the best way to prep is to understand the concepts thoroughly and to practice with the types of problems and projects you'll encounter on the exam. Good luck, and keep up the good work in your studies!
