What standardized test scores does Stanford usually expect?

Stanford's my dream school and I'm prepping for the SAT. I'm slightly anxious, honestly. What's the typical SAT score range for admits? Anyone know what the benchmark is?

Most Stanford University admitted students have an SAT score within the range of 1500-1560. This spectrum represents the middle 50%, meaning that 25% of admitted students scored below 1500, while another 25% scored above 1560. However, keep in mind that Stanford is still test-optional for the 2024-2025 application cycle so you're not required to submit test scores if you believe your scores don't adequately represent your academic potential. In addition to scores, Stanford gives considerable weight to the rigor of students' high school curricula, their grades, personal essays, and extracurricular involvement. For instance, they'd be more impressed by a 'spiked' applicant who shows exceptional depth and achievement in 1-2 areas versus a well-rounded applicant with less depth in several areas. So, while a strong SAT score is undoubtedly advantageous, remember to also emphasize other dimensions of your profile.
