Understanding Bentley University’s GPA scale?

I'm kinda lost with Bentley University's GPA scale. I'm not sure how it works out. Can anybody explain their grading system to me, and possibly the average GPA for admitted students?

Bentley University uses a 4.0 GPA scale, which is common in many U.S. colleges. On this scale, an A grade would equate to a 4.0, an A- to a 3.7, a B+ to a 3.3, a B to a 3.0, a B- to a 2.7, a C+ to a 2.3, a C to a 2.0, a D to 1.0, and an F is a 0. This way of grading helps to distinguish between different levels of academic achievement.

Moreover, the average high school GPA of students admitted to Bentley University tends to be around 3.8, according to the latest data. This indicates that admitted students typically performed well during their high school years, often achieving A's and B's in their classes. It's important to note, however, that GPA is not the only factor colleges consider in their admissions process, with other components like course rigor, extracurricular activities, your essays and letters of recommendation playing a significant role as well.

So, while it is key to strive for a strong GPA, do not neglect other aspects of your application. Good luck!
