Culinary Institute of America - Requirements

Hey folks! I'm really passionate about cooking and have been looking at Culinary Institute of America. Is there anyone who knows about their admission requirements? Things like any necessary culinary experience or other specifics?

When it comes to attending a prominent culinary school like Culinary Institute of America (CIA), there are a few factors they look at during the admissions process.

Academically, you will need to have obtained your high school diploma or its equivalent. The admissions team will review your high school or college transcripts as a part of your application.

For the culinary programs, CIA does recommend having some foodservice-related work experience before applying. This is not a hard requirement, but it does show your commitment and interest in the culinary field.
