ACT Score for LSU?

Hey guys, I'm planning on applying to Louisiana State University for next year. Anyone know what ACT score they typically require for admission? I couldn't find a straight answer online and it'd be really helpful to know while I'm prepping for the test.

Louisiana State University has a holistic admissions process, where they look at not just your standardized test scores, but also your GPA, course rigor, extracurriculars, essays, and other aspects of your application. Due to the holistic admissions process, there isn't necessarily a "required" ACT score.

However, to give you some context, the middle 50% ACT scores for admitted students at LSU are typically between 24 and 29. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 24, and another 25% scored above 29. If you fall within or above this range, you're more likely to be competitive for admission.

Remember that these numbers are not cut-offs and are only averages. I would suggest aiming for the higher end of this range to maximize your chances, but also remember that your overall application strength is crucial. An excellent essay, strong extracurriculars, or a rigorous course load can also make a big difference in your application.

Best of luck with your test prep and the admissions process!
