Where is VCU?

I am checking out different colleges for my applications and VCU popped up. Just wondering where the heck VCU is located? What's the campus and nearby area like?

VCU, which stands for Virginia Commonwealth University, is located in Richmond, the capital city of Virginia. It's situated in an urban setting, which often translates into a vibrant, dynamic environment for students.
