Looking for FSU SAT Score Information

Hey, guys. I've been looking into FSU lately and I'm wondering about the average SAT scores of accepted students. While I don't want to base my entire application on it, it would be great to have an idea about the scores so I can strategize my preparation.

Definitely strategizing your preparation based on the information you have is a good place to start. As of the 2024-2025 application cycle, the middle 50% SAT scores for FSU (Florida State University) range from 1280 to 1360 for admitted students. This means that 50% of FSU admitted students have SAT scores within this range.

Now, remember, these scores are just part of the picture. Although FSU does consider standardized test scores, they use a holistic review process, which means they also look at your GPA, the courses you've taken in high school, your activities, and your essays. So, while aiming for a score within or higher than this range is beneficial, it's equally important to focus on other parts of your application, such as maintaining a strong GPA and involving in meaningful extracurriculars.

Just a note: if you don't currently fall within this range, don't be discouraged! Many students still get into FSU with scores below this range. Plus, it sounds like you still have time to prep and improve your SAT score before you apply. Focus on identifying your strengths and weaknesses on the test and practicing consistently—it'll greatly help in achieving your target score.

Good luck with your preparations!
