What's the location of Duke University like?

Sup folks? I'm seriously considering Duke University and I'm curious about its location. Like what's the campus culture? Is it in a big city or not? And how's the life off-campus?

Duke University is situated in Durham, North Carolina, which is part of the Research Triangle, an area known for its technology companies and scholarly institutions. Durham itself is a medium-sized city with a population of around 300,000. While it's not an immense metropolis like New York or Los Angeles, there's certainly a lot going on, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and cultural activities.
