University of Connecticut-Stamford information?

I've been looking into the University of Connecticut-Stamford but couldn't find much info. Anyone here who has experience with UConn Stamford? What's it like to study there?

UConn Stamford is a vibrant part of the University of Connecticut system. This campus provides an engaging learning environment combined with access to the resources of a larger university community.

Academically, it carries the same strong reputation as other UConn campuses, offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs. It's particularly known for programs in digital media and business, and it has strong connections with local industries, providing numerous opportunities for internships and job placements.

The campus itself is in the heart of Stamford, which places students just an hour's train ride from New York City. This location gives students both the small campus feel and the opportunity to explore a large, dynamic city.

On the other hand, as with any satellite campus, it is smaller and has a more limited range of facilities compared to the main campus at Storrs. Thus, while you'll find smaller class sizes and a tight-knit community at Stamford, you might have a bit less of the traditional college experience when it comes to things like Greek Life, athletics, or performing arts if those are important to you.

UConn Stamford also has a fairly diverse student body, with a good mix of in-state, out-of-state, and international students. The small campus size does mean that the student community is close, and many students express that they are able to establish strong connections with their peers and instructors due to the smaller class sizes.

In terms of housing, UConn Stamford has an on-campus residence hall, which is a short walk from classrooms and downtown Stamford. These housing facilities are relatively new, as they were only introduced in 2017, and are therefore quite modern in their construction and design.

Ultimately, UConn Stamford would be a good fit if you're looking for a smaller, close-knit environment with the benefits of a large university and the resources of a city at your fingertips.
