Wofford vs Furman: Can I get some insights?

So, I've narrowed it down to Wofford and Furman, but I need some help making the final decision. Has anyone here chosen one over the other? Why did you make that choice? Thanks in advance!

Deciding between Wofford and Furman can be tough, as they're both quality institutions, but they do differ in certain ways.

Location can be a big determining factor. Wofford is located in Spartanburg, SC, a small city that still offers many shops, restaurants, and attractions. It's also only 40 minutes from Greenville, providing even more opportunities. Furman, on the other hand, is located right outside of downtown Greenville, offering an abundance of things to do and places to go.

Size is another significant factor. Wofford is a bit smaller with around 1,700 students, which some people find to be a more tight-knit and community-centered environment. Furman, while still quite small, has a larger student body of about 2,600.

Both institutions are known for their rigorous academics and supportive college community. Wofford is popular for its business and biology programs while Furman is known for political science and music.

However, the best way to choose between the two is to consider the unique experiences that each college offers, and how well these align with your academic, social, and career goals. Speak with current students, professors, and alumni if possible, to gain more perspective. Additionally, spending time on each campus, if you have the opportunity, could also be very beneficial as it could give you a sense of where you might feel more at home.

Good luck with your decision!
