Help! Can't Find Information on Mercyhurst Tuition

Hello! I've been accepted to Mercyhurst University and I'm super excited. But I need to figure out the costs first. Can anyone tell me how much I should expect to pay for tuition, room and board, books, etc.? I'm also curious to know if there are any scholarships or grants I could apply for. Thanks in advance!

Congrats on your admission! As you plan your expenses for Mercyhurst University, it's important to note that the costs can vary depending on several factors.

As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the tuition at Mercyhurst is approximately $42,840 for full-time undergraduate students. Keep in mind that this amount is for tuition only and not inclusive of other fees. Additional fees cost approximately $3,260.

As for room and board, the cost also varies depending on the type of housing and meal plan you choose. However, the typical range is about $12,958 per year.

On top of tuition, fees, and room and board, you'll also need to budget for books and supplies, personal expenses, and transportation. Collectively, these should average about $5,000 per year.

Concerning scholarships and grants, Mercyhurst offers a variety of merit-based scholarships to students based on academic achievement. Additionally, the school has several departmental scholarships depending on your intended major. You should also consider looking into external scholarships or grants that you may be eligible for.

Remember to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as early as possible to maximize the amount of financial aid you may be eligible to receive, regardless of income. This will give you the best opportunity to secure federal, state, or university-sponsored aid options such as grants, work-study, or loans.

Keep in mind that these figures are estimates and the exact amounts can fluctuate from year to year. I'd recommend reaching out to the financial aid office of Mercyhurst for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Good luck with your college planning!
