Penn State Harrisburg Tuition?

I'm looking into Penn State Harrisburg as one of my college options. Does anyone here have any information about their tuition and fees? Any financial aid tips specifically for this campus?

Penn State Harrisburg's estimated tuition and fees are different for Pennsylvania residents and out-of-state students. As of the 2024-2025 school year, Pennsylvania residents can expect a tuition of approximately $15,388 per academic year. For out-of-state students, it's approximately $26,374 per academic year. Both in-state and out-of-state students pay a student fee of $584. Please note, these estimates do not include room and board, textbooks, and other personal expenses which also contribute to the total cost of attendance.

As for financial aid, be sure to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which opens on October 1st, as soon as possible. The sooner you submit your FAFSA, the sooner you will have an understanding of what federal aid you qualify for. Penn State Harrisburg's FAFSA school code is 003403.

In addition to the FAFSA, check out Penn State's own Office of Student Aid website for other forms of aid available, like scholarships, grants, work-study jobs, and loans. Be aware of the deadlines for these as they might be different from the FAFSA deadlines.

Penn State Harrisburg also has some scholarships that are specific to their campus or to specific majors or groups of students, so check their website or contact their financial aid office directly for details.

Lastly, I would also recommend using Penn State's Net Price Calculator. This will provide you with an estimated financial aid package based on your family’s financial circumstances and give you a better idea of what you might end up paying out of pocket. Keep in mind, this is just an estimate and the actual aid you receive could be different. It's always a good idea to verify with the financial aid office if you have specific questions.
