Houston, Texas Military High Schools?

It's my junior year and I've been thinking about going to a military high school in Houston, Texas, my home state. Does anyone here know about the top ones? Genuine replies appreciated, thanks!

There are several military high schools in Texas as a whole, but for options specifically within Houston, it's important to specify that most military schools in the city are JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps) programs within larger public or private schools. Two examples are the Army JROTC programs at Austin High School and Davis High School.

There is also the Texas Military Institute (TMI) in San Antonio which is a co-educational college preparatory school for students in grades 6-12. They offer a comprehensive military leadership program in addition to their strong academics.

When contemplating schools, consider the type of environment you are seeking as well as how rigorous a military program you want. It's always a good idea to visit campuses and speak with students or alumni if possible to get a feeling of the culture and support provided. Good luck with your decision-making!
