Hawthorne High School's Military Leadership and Public Safety Course: Anyone have experience?

I'm looking into the Military Leadership and Public Safety course at Hawthorne High School. It sounds like a good path for someone interested in a military career, but I haven't found much student feedback on it. Does anyone have first-hand experience or suggestions for other courses worth considering?
