What should I expect at a High School Military Academy?

I'm seriously considering attending a military academy for senior year. For those who have attended or know about them, what should I expect to be different from a traditional high school? How is the day-to-day life, workload, discipline, and involvement in activities?

Attending a military academy can indeed be a unique experience compared to a traditional high school. One of the key differences is the structured environment of a military academy which often follows a rigid daily schedule. Wake-up calls, regimented meals, and set study hours are common.

In terms of discipline, military academies place a strong emphasis on character-building, responsibility, and respect for authority. Obedience, punctuality, proper grooming, uniform upkeep and taking care of personal spaces are generally expected from students.
