How do I use the UA GPA calculator?

Hi there! I've been trying to figure out my GPA, and apparently, the UA (University of Arizona) has its own GPA calculator. However, I'm not quite sure how to use it. Could anyone guide me a little bit? Thanks in advance!

Sure, I'd be happy to guide you through using the University of Arizona (UA) GPA calculator!

1. First, you will need to gather all your course information, such as course credits and your grades.

2. Access the UA GPA calculator found on their official website.

3. You'll see a series of boxes or fields on the webpage where you'll input this course information.

4. For each course you've taken, you will need to enter the number of credits the course was worth in one box and the letter grade you received in another box. If you're doing this for future coursework and don't have a grade yet, you can estimate based on your current performance.

5. After you've entered the details of all your courses, you simply click "calculate", or whatever button UA's calculator has that performs this function.

6. The calculator will then display your GPA.

Keep in mind that it's only an estimate and may not exactly match the official GPA that UA will compute. If you've taken courses on a pass/fail basis or if your school uses a nonstandard grading scale, you might need to consult with an academic advisor to get the most accurate GPA calculation.

Also, the GPA calculated using the UA calculator is what's considered your "unweighted" GPA, meaning it doesn't take into account the extra weight that honors, AP, or IB classes often get. If you want to calculate a weighted GPA, you may need to use a different tool that allows you to assign higher weight to such courses.

Hopefully, this helps. Good luck with your calculations!
